El proceso
Etherotopy es un documental cuya única pretensión es mostrar objetivamente la génesis de una acción creativa colectiva. Durante algunas semanas el equipo de trabajo estuvo planteando distintas fórmulas que justificarán una imagen de portada del proyecto editorial ortográfico titulado Eterotopía. Tras revisar algunas ideas que planteaban la fórmula de Éter como elemento compositivo, se sumo la posibilidad de activar un dispositivo único que validará la fórmula en sí misma, justificando, además la experiencia de lo colectivo en el proyecto. Se trataba de superar los obstáculos de todo arte basado en lo objetual o reproductivo y dejar una huella constante que demostrara lo que esta decisión implicaba: tiempo y colectividad. De esta manera, se planteo la posibilidad de que al menos una persona del equipo se tatuara la fórmula del Éter en alguna parte del cuerpo. En sí, un límite basado en la experiencia y en la acción. Todo el grupo se sumo a la idea, que fue refrendada por votación. Dos personas se ofrecieron para ejecutarla: Gemma que profesionalmente trabaja como tatuadora y Noa que asumió desde el primer momento la iniciativa de ser tatuada. Se acordó, además, que dicho el gestor y rastro debían de ser sufragado colectivamente, como parte de la experiencia colectiva en la que todos y todas, de alguna manera, necesitaban sentirse involucrados y representados. El gesto de ser todos corresponsables de dicha retribución implicaba una expresión implícita del acuerdo y del contrato de todos.

Finalmente a la semana se realizo en el mismo aula la acción determinante siendo todos testigos y observadores activos de la misma que documentaron fotográficamente y audiovisualmente el acontecimiento. De entre todas las imágenes realizadas el equipo volvería a escoger la más representativa como imagen de portada del proyecto editorial.

Este audiovisual recoge dicho momento, haciendo uso del video-registro como técnica audiovisual e instrumento metodológico en una investigación a/r/tográfica. El resultado es un documental con un plano secuencia casi continuo, mediado exclusivamente por la duración permitida por la cámara para una secuencia continua.
The Process
Etherotopy is a documentary whose only claim is to objectively show the genesis of a collective creative action. For a few weeks the work team was proposing different formulas that will justify a cover image of the orthographic editorial project entitled Eterotopía. After reviewing some ideas that proposed the Ether formula as a compositional element, the possibility of activating a unique device that will validate the formula itself was added, also justifying the experience of the collective in the project. It was about overcoming the obstacles of all art based on the objectual or reproductive and leaving a constant trace that demonstrated what this decision implied: time and community. In this way, the possibility was raised that at least one person from the team would tattoo the Ether formula on some part of their body. In itself, a limit based on experience and action. The entire group joined the idea, which was endorsed by vote. Two people offered to carry it out: Gemma, who works professionally as a tattoo artist, and Noa, who took the initiative of getting tattooed from the outset. It was also agreed that said manager and trace should be paid for collectively, as part of the collective experience in which everyone, in some way, needed to feel involved and represented. The gesture of being all co-responsible for said compensation implied an implicit expression of the agreement and contract of all.

Finally, a week later, the determining action was carried out in the same classroom, with all of them being witnesses and active observers of it, who photographically and audiovisually documented the event. Among all the images made, the team would choose the most representative as the cover image of the editorial project.

This audiovisual captures that moment, making use of the video-record as an audiovisual technique and methodological instrument in an a/r/tographic investigation. The result is a documentary with an almost continuous sequence shot, mediated exclusively by the duration allowed by the camera for a continuous sequence.
